A Picnic in the Park Recipe by Bella Gluten-Free

Bella Gluten-Free Multigrain Sandwich Bread Mix makes 8-10 beautiful rolls so I always freeze half for the next barbeque. I can even grill them along with burgers for that wonderful barbeque taste. And they don’t fall apart---really! This recipe puts summer burgers back on the grill.

Prepare one package of Bella Gluten-Free Multigrain Bread Mix according to instructions.

Asian Turkey Burger

1 lb dark meat turkey, ground

1 clove garlic, minced

1-2 tsp minced fresh ginger

1 tsp fresh parsley, chopped

¼ cup sweet onion, minced

2 TBL Thai Sweet Red Chili sauce

1 tsp gluten-free soy sauce such as Bragg’s or Wheat-Free Tamari

½ tsp sea salt

Pepper to taste

Ingredients: Red Curry Mayo

1/2 cup mayonnaise

2 tsp Thai Kitchen Red Curry Paste (more if desired)

2 TBL capers

1/4 cup red onion, diced small

Mix it Up
Rolls: Fill 4" round cake pans or muffin top pans 1/2 full. Shape top and sprinkle with water and add toppings of choice such as sesame seeds, poppy seeds, or dehydrated onions or garlic. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes until rolls are golden brown and sound hollow when bottom is tapped.

Burgers: In medium bowl mix all burger ingredients well. Form patties by lightly patting. Meat mixture will be wet. Coat grill and coat thoroughly on both sides until done, 8-10 minutes.

Curry Mayo: In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, curry paste, capers and onion. Set aside.

Chef’s Notes:
Feel free to load your burger up with all your favorite toppings and condiments. These rolls are tender but will hold up to any toppings.
